The Children’s League is pleased to announce, Tracie Green as a new Speech Pathologist for the “Rite Care” Speech Language Disorders Clinic located at Garrett Family Medicine, 69 Wolf Acres Dr. Oakland, MD.   The clinic is open free of charge to any child up to age 21.  Since 2017 The Children’s League has operated and managed the Garrett County Scottish Rite “Rite Care” speech clinic ensuring that children have access to free professional speech evaluations and speech therapy.  Other locations for the “Rite Care” Speech Clinics are Keyser and Petersburg, WV and Cumberland, MD.

Cathy Growden, Executive Director of The Children’s League says, “Tracie is a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with years of experience working with children.  We are pleased that she is currently seeing children, from Oakland and surrounding communities, providing free speech evaluations and therapy”.

The Children’s League is an 88-year-old 501 c 3 non-profit organization.  In addition to speech therapy The League also provides free orthopedic, cerebral palsy and cleft lip / palate clinics and physical therapy for children birth to 21 from Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.  All provided free services are offered at The League’s Cumberland location.
