2024 marks the 90th Anniversary of The Children’s League.  For the past 90 years The League has served and cared for thousands of children.   What began in 1934 as The Allegany County, Maryland, League for Crippled Children, Inc., has evolved and grown to what is now known as The Children’s League.  Although the operating name was modified several times during those 90 years the many services provided by The League have always remained free to patient and family.  The Children’s League currently provides FREE orthopedic, cerebral palsy and cleft lip/palate clinics as well as FREE speech evaluations/therapy and physical therapy for children birth to 21 from Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
